Who we are

DoWeNeedAI is a product built by Rex Chen. This policy explains what data we collect through the DoWeNeedAI website and how we handle it.

What we collect

When you sign up for the waitlist, we collect:

• Email address — so we can notify you when the product launches.
• Industry & AI adoption status — optional survey answers to help us shape the product.
• Expectations — optional free-text about what you hope the tool helps with.
• Browser user-agent — collected automatically for anti-abuse purposes.

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or any sensitive personal data at this stage.

How we use your data

• To send you one email when the product is ready — nothing else.
• To understand what kinds of businesses are interested, so we can build something useful.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (a serverless database) and processed by Cloudflare Workers. Email delivery is handled by Resend. Both services operate under their own privacy policies and process data on our behalf.

Cookies & tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or any third-party tracking scripts.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you what data we have about you.
• Delete your data entirely.
• Correct any inaccurate information.

Just email service@doweneedai.net and we'll handle it within 7 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll notify waitlist members by email.
